I've been to the Hollywood in Lawrenceburg, IN, and I have to say I prefer the atmosphere in Columbus. If you enjoy slots, I think you'd love this place. Didn't try and food and never saw a beverage hostess. Beautiful casino, very friendly staff, nice parking. I played through my initial $50 in about 30 minutes and cashed out the $200 win and left with a $150 profit. Fourth hand, I caught 4 aces and won $200. I reluctantly put in my $50 bill and started playing.

I reluctantly sat down to a machine and selected 'Double Double Bonus' and the pay table was the lowest I had ever seen. The expected payout on many of these games is terrible, by video poker standards. 25 video poker machines, but the pay tables were way short of what I am used to in Vegas, or even at the Belterra. We spectators told a supervisor that we could fill two $5 tables and give a couple of otherwise bored dealers something to do if he would open a couple of $5 tables. The blackjack tables were $15 and $25 minimums! There were very few players, and 8-10 spectators. I only play blackjack and specific games of video poker. Upon entering the casino, it is overwhelmingly huge. There were only about 100 cars in the parking garage, in fact I was able to park right in front of the doors.

I was curious and had $50 that wouldn't kill me if I lost it in a few hours. I visited this casino for the first time the Thursday before Christmas, at 10:30am.
